Perche' vuoi gestire solo il failover e non anche avere un Load Balancing ?
Mi sembra sprecato non utilizzare la seconda linea, a meno che non sia una di quelle tariffate a traffico e non flat.

Per un'applicazione SOHO io ho utilizzato un Linksys RV16 (il link e' lungo, vai su http://www.linksys.com e cerca RV16 oppure RV082), e problemi per il momento non ne hanno avuti.

Non l'ho provato, pero' questo prodotto opensource sembra abbastanza completo (anche se non hai ben specificato le tue esigenze, oltre al multiWAN) http://www.clarkconnect.com/
