This report has been written on behalf of ENISA (the European Network and
Information
Security Agency) in response to a call for tenders to identify emerging
risks and sources
of emerging risks in the area of network and information system security1.
The emerging
risks identified in this report have been categorized in three time scales: 

Current: Current Risks are those which exist at the time of this writing
(i.e. 2007).

Emerging: Emerging Risks are those which may arise in the following three
years
(i .e., 2007-2010).

Future: Future Risks are those which may appear in the following six years
(i .e.
2007-2013).
