R: [ml] mac address

Purtroppo non ho un HD con i due S.O. da te menzionati sotto mano.
 
Sotto XP comunque è presente nel registry di Windows.
 
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CD Burning\Drives\Volume{580363de-3d49-11da-b3af-00022d8d522e}
 
dove 00022d8 ecc ecc è  il MAC della mia scheda wireless.
 
La trovi anche in 
 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
 
ed in
 
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1645522239-1844823847-682003330-1003\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2\{580363de-3d49-11da-b3af-00022d8d522e}
 
 
 
Non è così facilmente individuabile però....io ero facilitato perchè sapevo qual'era il MAC ed un search sul registry è banale....Se qualcuno della lista fa la stessa cosa su una macchina Win2K dovresti riuscirci.

E' possibile conoscere il mac address
avendo nelle mani solo l'hard disk e non
la macchina a cui esso era montato?

Ossia, il mac address, viene scritto nell'hard
disk? E se si, dove e come posso andare a leggerlo?

Possibile sistema operativo installato nell'hard disk:Windows98 o Windows
2000.
